Technical Account Manager

Job Description

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the AdXpose service will provide exceptional client support as well as support several teams in the company, notably sales, business development, and operations. Most importantly, however, the TAM will be responsible for selling AdXpose within existing client organizations, specifically helping grow impression volumes and additional service usage. The role will be also responsible for successfully managing all aspects of clients’ campaigns including strategy, planning, performance, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting. Simply put, the TAM manages the customer relationship and ensuring that we deliver on their program goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of clients, including monitoring campaign performance, data analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Alternate between a strategic, consultative approach to growing clients’ businesses and the tactical, day-to-day management of client issues vital to successful and growing client relationships
  • Pre-sales support for new business, client on-boarding and training
  • Manage and develop client relations in the early stages, from post-sale to post-contract account development, scaling the business, and working to expand contacts and campaigns within an account
  • Contribute to product management/development teams to define features and inform future development priorities
  • Participate in ongoing and post-campaign analysis; support interpretation of client data
  • Analyze campaign performance, key learnings, and program success in meeting objectives. Share learnings internally for future planning
  • Develop strong, productive relationships with clients and agencies
Requirements include:
  • 3-5 years experience in online sales, sales account management, or advertising operations to agencies, networks, and brands
  • Experience selling data, ad serving and/or analytics solutions highly preferred
  • Successful track record of developing and growing accounts and superior client-service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative analysis and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with major ad serving platforms (DART, Atlas, others), and Salesforce
  • Problem solver. Organized. Proactive.
  • Aggressive, self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail, deadlines, accuracy, and quality of work
  • Knowledge of ad agencies, advertisers, media pricing models, and the online advertising industry
  • Success and comfort in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging environments
  • BA/BS required
